Welcome to the 2023/2024 hockey season!

I hope to share this season with you. Please post about your team. As in all the previous seasons, we keep it friendly and respectful. Feel free to post positively about your team!

What team do you root for? I am a die hard NY Rangers fan, since the early/mid 70s.

I also root for my home state team, the NJ Devils, as long as they are not playing the Rangers. My husband and adult son are also Devils fans.

Who scored the very first goal of this season? Kucherov! The Bolts beat the Preds last night.

The Blackhawks beat the Pens last night. Bedard had an assist.

The Golden Knights raised the Stanley Cup banner last night and beat the Kraken.

Ruff will be the Devils coach for a while. He signed a new deal.

Well, this season is being approached by Bruins fans with hope and apprehension. So many good players gone.............but hope springs eternal!

With the Red Sox and Patriots wearing their official Nike toe-tags in the morgue, I have been geting my enjoyment in seeing teams and fan bases that have been long suffering (Hello, Lions!) see some success.

I also get great happiness seeing teams and fan bases that I do not like get the rug pulled out from under them (Hello, Dodgers!)

This hockey season I will be pulling for the Bruins to surprise us, but also for the Jackets, Wings and Rangers to have their fans in orbit.

Here's to a fun, safe, healthy and compettitive season that will be enjoyed by all hockey fans in all cities! (Except Montreal, of course.)
