Thank you for this heartfelt letter to his fans. The Hockey World, much like Nascar Racing, is very different than other major league sports. The character of the players(drivers) are worlds apart from the ME ONLY(he!! with the fans) of the NFL. The country and the fans "owe them", not the other way around.

If there is 1 reason I loved/love hockey and auto racing, it is the participants appreciation for and to the fans. The other sports, in my opinion, not so much. Thanks again,
