I've ever seen QVC has. Look like mens work boots.
Uncomfortable, ugly, time consuming to put on. Big chunky heel. Just not for me

Well we can't really address the comfort unless we have worn them, can we?
Has a side zip so why would it be any more time consuming to put on than any other boot/shootie?
'Military' style boots have been very popular for many years now.

I agree. What were they thinking.

Somebody on the board said they would be good for snow. Um, I don't think so with that big chunky heel on ice ? Give me good ol flats with traction.
they would be good exercise , though. picking up each step with all that weight.

I actually love them, I was considering buying a pair for my daughter, I know she would love them too. I'm not sure what is so ugly about them, this is the style that has been around for a long time, I've got a number of leather Clark's that are similar in style just not with the printing. (that's the only reason I'm not buying a pair for myself.) They are wonderfully comfortable for walking everywhere.
I see women in every big city in the world wearing shoes exactly like this in the winter time. I don't wear snow boots every day, and neither do they.

If you are talking about the TSV I thought they were adorable. I would buy them but I have over 40 pairs of boots and can't possibly justify another. They are very on-trend and cute.

We are opposites today @SharkE LOL
I live in the snow capital of the Northeast....and have boots with those exact heels.
My favs have a chunky 3" heel.
They are excellent in the snow!!!!!
With those treads on the bottom, they grip the ice and snow very well.

I agree with @SharkE .I think they're ugly. For those who like it enjoy your purchase.

@SharkE - No, they look nothing like mens' work boots. How many working men have you looked at lately? ![]()
You can't speak to the comfort until you wear them and they have a side zip - how long would that take you to put them on? And I very much doubt they weigh a lot.
Beauty is in the eye of the beholder. I think they're beautifully crafted.
(BTW, I also live in the snowy northeast. While I wouldn't wear those lovely boots in the slush and snow, the heels and tread wouldn't be the issue. I just wouldn't want to risk ruining them.)

This particular style has been popular and around for a while now. Granted, it might not be a style for everyone, but it does appeal to many. While this style, at my age, isn't what I would gravitate to now, I do love the artisan leather work. I, personally, don't believe in condemning what others may like. If you have picked up this TSV, enjoy your purchase.
