I could care less about getting a "free" key fob. For one, we are educated consumers and know items are part of the purchase price. This is PR to set the D&B/QVC relationship apart from brick and mortar and online retailers.

As consumers with different taste levels, I find the shoulder stap to be a waste with my purchase, but many other D&B lovers use them all the time. I often read complaints about the narrow width of the shoulder strap in proportion to the size of the handbag. If they would use the leather from my unused shoulder strap and took the strap from the unhappy frequent shoulder strap user, you would end up with a proper width strap. Could they offer a correctly proportional shoulder strap for some customers and perhaps a cosmetic case as an optional choice.

I would trade in all the "freebies" for free S&H. The sites where I purchase, have unusual items or tend to offer free S&H. Maybe, it is just me, but I think D&B/QVC should update their marketing and offer something important to their consumers.

I love my Dooney key fob and that was a factor in my purchase. Now I have one and don't need another, but I don't mind them including them for other people who don't have one and want one.

If you don't like the extras, you can sell them online and make back the cost of shipping.

I'll happily contribute all my unused shoulder straps. {#emotions_dlg.biggrin}

No, & it annoys me that QVC makes such a big deal of "giving" us one with every D&B bag. I've seen them claim it costs $25. Really? A piece of scrap leather with a key ring (a whole bag of which can be bought at a craft store for a couple of bucks) attached. I already have a key ring & am not going to change it to coordinate with my handbag. I wish they'd forget the key fob & just knock $25 off the price of the bag.

Not every D&B bag from the Q has a key fob, only the "ones w/ accessories". I do have to laugh at the $25 'value' {#emotions_dlg.blink} What's even more preposterous is the 'cosmetics' bag's "value" >>> way overstated! {#emotions_dlg.laugh}

I love the accessories and I use them all the time. I'm with ChynnaBlue - sell them if you don't like them.

April-Rose, one time I saw on QVC a bag that had a slide-on piece to the narrow shoulder strap that was wider & padded. I repeat, I saw it one time. I called D&B CS about it & was told they could sell me one that matched my bag if I'd just let them know which bag (so they could match the leather). I never bothered because I thought I'd already spent enough.
