I have beem buying clarks shoes fro QVC formany years, now my size do not fit

anymore. What's going on with clarks. For the price of the shoes, they should fit. I am

stuck with two pairs of shoes, that i didn't try on when i got them. Thanks a lot for the mess. Amazon might be better, because you can try before you buy.

@iana I used to own a number of Clarks shoes, and found them to be very comfortable. Several years ago, the quality and comfort seemed to take a sharp drop...along with sizing consistency. I found this to be true even on Clarks own website.

I've discovered Alegria (for sandals) and Earth (for boots & shoes)...much more comfortable, better quality!

I also used to love Clark's shoes, but the quality and sizing is awful now.

I do agree regarding the quality of Clark shoes.  Like everything else they seem to be making them cheaper but the pricing stays the same or gets higher.  I stopped purchasing them a while back.  Thankfully the ones I bought many years ago are still in good shape as I alternate my shoe and boot wearing.   Last purchase I did return as the fit was off and the shoes actually hurt my feet......done.

I agree. I loved Clark's years ago. The quality was good and they always fit. Now the quality has declined sharply. My husband and I went to two different Clark's outlet stores and couldn't get past the smell of the store. It had a funky, fishy odor. So no more Clark's for me.

I used to wear them when I was working because they were comfortable. Then I bought a pair to wear on a cruise and about a year later while cleaning out my closet I looked at them and they were falling apart. So I basically got only a couple of wears out of them. The Clark's store in the mall has since left so I buy Ecco and sneakers.

Who is to blame for you not trying them on when you got them?

They could have been exchanged for a different size or returned.

Getting stuck with them is no one else's fault really.

Clark's used to be my favorite shoe brand. Through the years, the sizing has been way off along with the quality. I just threw out my last pair that fell completely apart. They were suede and the top layer just started peeling off and the soles started crumbling. Their sizes have changed, in my opinion. I wear a narrow shoe and could always count on them to carry a few narrows. Their narrow shoes have become too wide, not in any way a narrow. It's sad to see a good company slide downwards.
