Why not offering narrow widths ?

I do not get why QVC wont  offer narrow widths !?   It's always Med and wide ,  there are those of us who happen to have narrow feet ,  but they are offered few and far between and only in sandals mainly.

the TSV today same thing m & w !   Why do wide widths  always take priority?   Don't we count ?

Re: Why not offering narrow widths ?

@Kitty Galore  I agree. 33% of women have narrow feet. QVC has not been good about offering narrows.

Re: Why not offering narrow widths ?

some brands don't even make narrow shoes. I would love to be able to order some of the cute shoes offered at Qvc. Or to walk into a store and purchase shoes. But no. I have to find them online at etailers like Ros Hommerson and pay $130 for a pair. No todays special pricing there! You ladies with medium and wide feet are lucky.

@Kitty Galore   must be a business decision.   Maybe 33% of women have narrow feet but apparently they don't buy shoes from the Q and not enough demand.   Maybe write a leeterntomthebshoe buyers at the Q

If they could sell enough to make it feasible, they'd sell the narrows.  Obviously they don't feel they can make money on them.

Because QVC, like all other retailers, is aware of America's supersized people and stock what's selling.  Next time you're out and about, just look around.  There's your answer.

@SEGardener  oh I have noticed that !  Doesn't seem fair to us that don't have wide feet though .  I guess that is the way businesses work fair or not .

my question would be how do they know if they never offer them ?    Offer them maybe and see is all .

@Kitty Galore.  I've seen them offered several times. Believe me, they have statistics on everything having to do with merchandising..

I sympathize with you as I struggled for years to find 9 1/2 AA.  In a place as big as Houston, I knew of only one store.   That was in '70s, I imagine there are more now.

Thankfully my foot flattened out so I can now wear a medium, happy days.

That's not a true statement.  I happen to be what you're calling a "supersized" person and don't come close to needing a wide width.  A person's weight usually has nothing to do with shoe size or width.

The better answer is that there are not many shoe manufacturers who still make narrow shoes.  Go into any DSW or Nordstrom and see how many if any, they sell.
