What was your first 'designer' bag?

My BFF and her sisters used to get staid looking John Romaine pocketbooks for Christmas each year. This was in junior high school! I could have cared less....

When I started working. Aigner was thee name in bags, belts, shoes, etc. All I could afford was a skinny belt and an 'A' key ring. I found a pair of Aigner heels on a clearance rack and bought them even though they killed my feet! What was I thinking?

Eventually after two hand me down Aigners I finally got my own as a Christmas gift. It was ugly as all get out, but it had that 'A' logo on it. That's all that mattered.
