Have gotten very into wearing scarves lately, but finding affordable ones is a challenge. Living in SoCal, finding lightweight ones is another challenge, but do-able, however! the ones I invariably find are DRY CLEAN ONLY. What's up with that?!
I realize there are many scarves that are fashion statements, in-and-of-themselves, and are very expensive, etc. But, I'm just looking for that little fashion treatment at the neck that isn't a necklace... something that maybe gives a little more 'cover' than even my biggest necklace.
Thankfully, scarves seem to be very 'on trend' (gagh, if I hear that one more time, lol), but where on earth can one find simple WASHABLE scarves?! I've been searching the internet all evening and have come up with very little to show for it. So odd.
They're worn around the neck, either close or not, but still... I leave mine on thru-out the day, and they need laundering just like any other item of clothing. Hand-wash I guess is ok, tho I'd rather just toss them in the machine with everything else, and I wonder, why can't they be made out of easy-care fabrics?
It's a puzzlement to me.
