I am afraid to try the Orthaheel....Remember when the Q. sold Birkenstocks....so many of you said you love them....best shoe around...have 20/30 pair...etc etc...

I would buy them...and not be able to walk in them...no matter how much time I spent "breaking" them in...I tried all styles..even the soft footbed...none of them were comfortable...

I sent many of them back..and I gave my freind many pairs...thats how many I had purchased....

So I am not going to take the chance on the Orthaheel...even though my next door neighbor swears by them....

Yeah...Birkies really KILL my knees when I walk in them.

I to have tried Vionics, and I can't wear them, there is no support for my foot.  So I tried Alegria, and they are fabulous they fit my foot, and are so comfortable, that's all I wear.  I personally am so sick of the Vionic shows, they are on more than any other product.

Re: What am i doing wrong with the Orthaheel?

I literally feel your pain. I have a pair of sandals and mules from Vionic, and two pairs of sneakers. the sandals and mules i had to give away to charity, they hurt my feet so badly. BUT the sneakers I can wear all day without discomfort. They do what they say, align my back and my knees.  I stopped buying cheap sneakers and invested in these. A bit more money but the comfort is superb. I am hoping to try the Allegria for some sandals. Smiley Happy
