Enough with the orthoheels. I tuned in late and heard Antonella say to the orthoheel guy ""you didn't expect to be on today"". So wonder if it was a last minute change.

Not happy about the show being cancelled. However I have ordered a couple of pairs in the last couple of days that my size was back in stock. Can't wait to get them.

I loved to see some NEW styles though!!!!

I use to wear Birkenstock's too, but got rid of them several years ago b/c I don't like the style of them. I've bought several pairs of Orthaheels and love them. They have some leather sandals now that I think are good looking, but yes they're overpriced. I don't need any more sandals. It's usually warm here, so I can wear sandals all year long.

I wear Birkenstock's, Alegria's, and Dansko's/Sanita's for health and comfort, and am very glad they have all sorts of styles, etc.. 8-)

I love Birkenstocks and have started a wardrobe of Orthaheel shoes including some slippers, many of the Orthaheel styles do not come in my size especially if you have to size up 1/2, wish they would offer a 5 1/2 for those of us who need them, they skip from 5 to 6 and then offer half sizes, so I continue to purchase Birkenstocks that come in my size. I purchase them at 6PM and love it. The prices are fair and shipping is free , the only drawback is they don't do exchanges so know your size. They do take back your shoes, but you pay to ship them back and then have to deal with getting a credit and reordering your shoes. I haven't had a problem because I order my correct size, the shoes come absolutely perfect.

Yup, me too!! I put aside time to watch the Birkenstock program, and was surprised it was replaced by Ortho thongs. If Q thinks I'm buying Ortho's because Birkenstocks are no longer on, they are certainly mistaken!! ${#emotions_dlg.thumbdown}$

I was in The New Balance store the other day and the salesman was really, really nice. We were talking about lots of different brands....he noticed the Birks I was wearing....and he mentioned that he wore them too.

He has a friend who recently retired from Birkinstock and the Birk guy told the NB salesman that the company is doing a sort of re-structure. They found that since introducing the Birkies and Papillios the company didn't do as well.

So they are now re-thinking their marketing strategy.

Wow, I'm fortunate that I already have Papillio's, as they fit me the best from the Birkenstock line. But they'll should always be on Ebay, Amazon, etc., thankfully.
