Yes!  I have the same thing!  My sandals are black like a rubber material. I love them, but now wear with socks.  And the price we paid?!!

I wear mostly Vionic sneakers, as well as house slippers.  I've never had an odor with either.  Oh, and in the summer I sometimes wear my Vionic flip flops.  No odor there either.

If your feet sweat you will  have this with any shoe or sandal. I wipe my sandals with a disinfectant wipe when they get too stink. The odor does come back though, it's a vicious cycle or is it circle.LOL

Spray with Lysol disinfectant spray, or a similar product.

There's a product called Shoe Pourri, made by the same company as Poo Pourri. I've never tried it, but l think it's available at QVC.

I wear the Vionics suede booties and I haven't noticed any odor, but I always wear them with socks, so maybe that makes the difference.??

I would try using a spray, I think Dr. Scholl's has one. Or I am sure there are similar ones out there from other brands.  It might be something from your feet/skin (oils?) mixing with the materials or something..who knows. I have my first pair of Vionics on waitlist, so I have no personal experience, but if it happens to me, I would just use a foot spray.

Edit: someone asked if the straps are all adjustable, and in one of the presentations, they said yes, the straps are adjustable.
