Update on my Clark's loafers issue

I had a pair break on the first wearing - clearly defective. I bought them in July though and the color was no longer available so I was in a quandry. I saw them presented on air and the burgundy was again available so I called customer service and they could not have been any nicer. I can return at full refund including S&H. The replacement pair are already on their way, problem solved.

That is great 151949.  It pays to try CS when there is a problem.

BTW  Have you made it back to Florida yet?  You mentioned heading back in October.  We just got back a couple of hours ago.  Good to be back and off the road!  Headed for a sandwich and a beer!

Our friends who live in sun city SC said they had another inch this past weekend. We saw a lot of standing water in farmers fields and wooded areas as we drove through north & south carolina and georgia. I thought they need to do something - drain it somewhere or spray it - otherwise they are going to have a horrible insect problem very soon. We also saw a flooded power station and a plan of flooded homes. It is heart breaking to think what these families are going through.
