I had to send my darling VB robe back to Q because it lacked a belt. I was intending to exchange for another. Long story short..I called CS this am and asked them to cancel and credit my card. I was sent a survey from VB yesterday, (what are the odds of that??) Anyway, I told them I will no longer be buying from them as their quality is lacking. I used to work at a lovely specialty shop and they quit selling their VB bags when they quit making them in the USA. I told them I have been a collector since 1988 and have many bags..but NOT interested now since several items have been defective. My robe last Christmas, a gift..was ripped! I kept it because I didn't want to hurt my boy's feelings. I've bought from Ebay, the Q and VB website..its risky because you can't see the merchandise. Just a heads up! Btw, the CS I talked too at the Q was extremely nice and very understanding~ I hate to complain, but as you women know, VB is pricey! We should get our money's worth!

I have been very happy with my VB handbags, and wallets. I have not bought any clothing from them. It is always disappointing to receive defective merchandise, and that certainly happens. I buy my VB directly from their website with deep discounts. I will not purchase handbags from Ebay for fear of cigarette smoke odor.

The other thing to keep in mind, along with our preferences, many of us have moderate to severe shoulder and neck issues. The heavy leather bags of yore are a "no no". Lines like VB, Kipling, and Baggellini allow us some fun and variety in carrying the day to day essentials.

Funny, the other day I was thinking of looking on eBay for some discontinued styles. I have these very small Vera bags that I use for my camera, my gps, and other small electronics. I think I got them for around $6 each years ago. Keeps me organized. I think they were sold as small purses for little girls.

I have always loved Vera Bradley, especially in their early years with the gorgeous provence prints! Hoping they will bring them back in the future. My minpin has the Venetian Paisley collar and the matching throw, that we share, lol! Hopefully they will continue making their lovely items, making sure quality is a priority! Just sayin..{#emotions_dlg.wub}

hate to say it but I think they are overexposed. I take my gently worn clothing to a very nice consignment store and the last time I was there they had A LOT of VB bags. I commented on it to the owner and she said they had to discontinue accepting them for sale because there were so many consigned and no where near enough sales.

That doesn't surprise me! No one likes to see themselves coming and going..I remember when everyone you would see was carrying a VB handbag and the stores were always busy..not so much anymore! There's alot on Ebay and they're always having a sale at VB.com~ They've had a long run and been very successful!
