So I've been dying for a pair of Uggs, NOT BECAUSE i think they will make me look like 16 ( fifty or so years too latefor that!), but because I've heard they were warm and comfortable. QUESTION- can Uggs Mocassins and slide on slippers be worn outside without causing fits of laughter from onlookers?

We are now in a "watch" for some ultra-bitter cold and blizzard like conditions, and I wore my new Uggs boots all day yesterday with great results. I love the cozy walking-on-a-cloud feeling! What a great tip about the Kirkland boots! I'll definitely be watching for them next season!

People aren't wearing Uggs where I live anymore. In fact, I haven't seen them at major stores either.

The only kind of boots in style in my area are leather boots that are worn with skinny jeans that come below the knee.

I haven't worn my Uggs (love them) at all this winter because I would feel out of style. I guess it's different in other areas of the country.

They are not being worn here now either so anyone that loves them needs to check some stores for some great prices. TJ Max if one that has almost given them away. Enjoy and let the dawgs feels great. I believe everyone pulls off their unique style so wear and enjoy the great prices.

They don't give them away here, because everyone wears them, and the less expensive similar boots. They feel soooooooooo good in this weather. Love them.

People definitely wear them around here! I did find a super cute tall style that laces up at Nordstrom Rack at the end of August and I'm glad I snatched them up! They are so warm and different that I always get stopped to ask where I got them. I live in Uggs from around Halloween through the end of March, but I realize they definitely aren't for everyone. I agree with kristico (post #26), they are worth every penny for me. I bought my first pair when my oldest was born (almost 11 years ago) to take him on stroller walks and shed my baby weight. I bought the 'trendy' (back then lol) powder blue color and to this day, they still look pretty good. Not brand new, since they are light color, but I they are still very presentable.
