I have a large collection of low-heeled supportive shoes, dozens of them. Today I got a couple pairs of the most serious support shoes in the group. They are from Zulily and were both made by Nurse Mates which is owned by Sofft. They are a line called "Aline". They have a deadly serious removable arch support, thick textured rubber sole and an extremely soft leather upper which feels like a textured suede and the whole shoe is very lightweight. One is an athletic style that ties but also has a zipper closure. It has a bit of shimmer. The other is a slip-on style and both are denim-friendly navy.
I paid $113. for both including shipping and found them online for about $89./pair. Of course Zulily will only feature them for a few days occasionally.
My foot is seriously cradled and supported. If it weren't for my back, I feel like I could walk 10 miles. These make other "support" shoes feel wimpy.

@butterfly123 I'm not sure about widths. I think Zulily just had medium.

I'll have to check these out. Thanks for the photos--they look like something I could wear. I need something for walking.
I'm always on the lookout for good supportive shoes that look decent and don't cost an arm and a leg.

My forever "go-to's" are Easy Spirit "Punter."
It gets their highest athletic endurance rating.
"ROMY" would be 2nd.
Walked all over D.C. in "Punter." HHTH

The slip on shoe in the top picture reminds me of the Sketchers shoe that was just the TSV. For about the same price, there is no comparison in quality or support. And the Nurse Mate is equally as light-weight.

I wear size 7Wide and today I rec'd 3 pairs of Skechers TSV. This is the 1st time wearing this brand. They're comfortable --- but my both feet slant inward when walking. I thought they were nubuck - but they're man-made. I've always worn well-made shoes -- but these are cheaply made - and the fit isn't as good. I'm now packing them up and returning to QVC. They have NO STRUCTURE. QVC - u need to start selling WELL-MADE, structured, comfortable shoes.
Thru the years, I purchased many pairs of Rykas, Clarks and Birkenstocks/Birki's. Rykas and Clarks are a guessing game when ordering on-line. Not the same as years ago.
The shoes u purchased look very comfy and well structured.

@kivah Sorry about your Sketchers experience. I've got several pairs I wear around the house as slippers but, as you say, they have virtually no support. When your feet turn inward when walking, you're most likely pronating and need a firm, stable shoe with an arch support to correct the pronation. That's what Vionics are supposed to do but I can't wear them, and I think they're over-priced for the quality. That's why I posted info about the Nurse Mates; good quality and support.

@kivah, haha...I just returned a pair of Clarks CloudSteppers to their site. They did feel comfortable, but there was nothing to them, and they gaped on the sides. I do have a pair of Clarks walking shoes (not CloudSteppers) that, while not overly supportive, work well for me. But I am wary of the brand now.

Thanks for sharing this @Kachina624. I own and love a few pairs of Softt, but I had never heard of Nurse Mates. I will look into this. Thanks again!
