I wish Spenco would add more back straps to their sandles.  At my age I need the stability,  I find the shoes comfortable but not so easy to stay stable on my feet,

Spenco and Vionic needs to improve their designs instead of just cranking out flip-flops too.  In the trash I have 2 = $100 plus S/V slippers cuz I'm unstable with medium width.  Needs NARROW & ADJUSTABLE STRAP doesn't 't do it.

Done with them................

There is a difference between "flip flop" type shoes falling off and needing true heel support.

Not sure merely adding a back strap will solve stability issues.

Some sneaker brands offer increased stability in some models.  Check around.

All of my shoes and sandals are backless.  Every shoe with a back strap or closed heel rubs my heels and gives me blisters. I haven't worn a shoe that wasn't backless in over 25 years.  I even had surgery on my left heel

I have found that if the sandal or shoe covers high on my foot, it does not cause me to lose them or walk out if them.  They are stable on my feet.

I just ordered two more pairs of Merrell Terra 3 Cush sandals yesterday. They make a toe post model, my favorite, and a slide.  They offer great support and stability. No break in time needed.

I think I have 10-12 pairs by now.  I buy a few pair every year. They are 40% off right now at the Merrell website.  $50

Here is a pic of the toe model.  Nothing is tight between your toes and rubs.
