Can anyone recommend a brand and type of women's house slippers for the elderly, some that will not attribute to falling or tripping?

She had been wearing Isotoner's ballerina type slipper with suede sole, but they are no longer made well.

They wear out super fast and are not worn outdoors.

TIA

I wear Crocs-prefer the lined ones. The liners are removable to launder.

My feet are always cold..I wear Bear Paws year round. They have a thick no slip sole.

I have never liked traditional slippers.  I use slip on canvas sneakers like Keds.  They are washable and can be worn outside.

Plenty of knock offs in places like Walmart, Target, 5 Below, etc.

Re: Women's House Slippers...

I bought these Vionic slippers, they looked great and were warm. BUT I cannot recommend them. They are heavy and when walking down the stairs one day one of them fell off and I nearly fell. Since then this happened a couple of times, I now know to wear a sock with 'grippies' on the bottom to keep them on. Now that summer is here I'm wearing a pair of sandals that have good support, done with the vionic slippers.

I always wear LL Bean slippers and have been for decades.  I have several different options with them.  I don't wear slippers much in the warm summertime but in the winter my feet are always cold.  I own their women's ultralight primaloft slip ons, which are great as I can wear them out in the yard also (water resistant, good sole) and I own Glerups wool slippers (again LL Bean) which I do  not wear outside at all, they are so nice and warm!    @Sunshine Kate

ETA:  I do not recommend Croc's (nothing against those who like them) but my best friend tripped on hers while wearing them and broke her foot!!!

I just received these. I bought them to use as slippers/house shoes. So far they feel really good. I sometimes wear them with socks if my feet are cold. They also help absorb the shock from my tile kitchen floor.

I think you will want something with a back on them for safety reasons and not a "slip-in" type shoe. If she can manipulate getting her feet into this type, they are non-slip, comfortable, and warm. I wear a similar style year-round, because my feet are always cold.
