I wear socks in the cold months.  I swear I must have a gazillion pairs and they all suck.  LOL.  It's so hard to find the right socks.

Some are too thin and some are too thick.  The compression athletic socks, that are supposed to be so great for your feet-- yeah. they cut my circulation. Then there are the ones that don't stay up or slip around.  I

f I can get by without wearing them I don't.  I imagine changing clothes and looks on the fly, as models do, finding matching socks would take too much time!

That's why I like Uggs in the winter... wear slippers in the house, then put on the uggs with the shearling lining to go outside.  No socks needed!

Doesn't bother me if people don't want to wear them.  I have to wear them as I'm just not comfortable without them.

I love socks!

I wear knee high socks with my boots and booties.  If I don't, they creep down and end up bunched at my toes.

I only wear socks with my boots.  That's only so the zipper doesn't get caught in my skin.  I prefer ankle pants and socks don't look right with them,

I wear socks and have all kinds of them: trouser sock knee highs, crew socks, cozy socks, no-show socks, leg warmers, etc. My socks are washable, but only some of my sneaker shoes are.

Here in the Northeast, when fall and winter roll around, it can get pretty darn cold.  Socks, at least for me, are a must.  I've found that natural fibers such as wool in socks are the warmest.  I purchased some fantastic warm, Merino wool blend socks from Costco that aren't bulky.  They come in a package of 4 and are about $14 in store.  Here's a picture, they come in either blue or purple and have 4 different patterns.  The socks look gray in the picture but they're not.  The colors and prints are actually a pretty shade of dark blue or dark purple.  imageService.jpg

I wear socks every day, the only exception is if I'm wearing thong type sandals.  Thru most of my working years, I wore running shoes every day for work & I can't stand wearing shoes w/o socks.  Around the house, I wear quarter or ankle socks with slides or my clog slippers.  I very rarely walk around the house barefoot, since I've had plantar fasciitis.
