I have many pairs of sketchers , love the comfort of the go mat especially,  but I noticed on one pair that I've taken out for the change of season while putting away the sandals that there is an order in the foam go mat on one pair that I do remember not wearing no show pads once last year 🤔. I usually do wear pens with them.   I don't have a problem with any other shoes , boots etc it must be the foam .  I thought they were made to go sockless guess not.    Any suggestions as to how to get the odor out ?   I've tried baby wipes to clean , baking soda , sprayed zero odor which made it even worse .   I love this pair but don't want to wear stinky shoes ,  may have to toss them if I can't get it out unfortunately 🫤

I have successfully washed Skechers.  It's worth a try.  Wet the shoe, then rub soap on the interior.  Bar soap, liquid, whatever.  Rub it in well, then wash in washing machine.  Give it an extra spin cycle to get out moisture.  Dry shoes outside in a sunny spot (deck, patio).

@Kitty Galore  I have 2 pairs of white Sketchers I have machine washed for years now.  They come out beautiful and as has been mentioned I let them air dry in the sun.  You can put the Lysol washing machine disinfectant in if you want.  I have machine washed all my cloth Sketchers and they do wash beautifully.  The white ones I use tide with bleach and that does the trick.  And yes 99% of the time I do not wear socks with mine.

I do not wear socks with any of my Skechers sneakers.  Many of them can be machine washed (I use gentle cycle) and some of them have removable insoles which I have also washed in a lingirie bag or in the sink.   Always air dry them.  I have several pairs and do this every season.  On very warm days I do put some Gold Bond foot powder in mine to help keep my feet from sweating.

I didn't realize you could wash the Go Mat I know there are washable sketchers I've seen presented .   I'm gonna give it a try what is there to loose.  I always dry sneakers that are washable on the deck on sunny days .  It does work well as you have both stated !  Thanks for the info 😀

@Kitty Galore   You can certainly toss them in the washer and hang to dry or lay flat to dry. I wash our skechers all the time, some have the inserted liner some do not. I don't even think to take out the liner but I certainly could and wash them too.

Never a problem with washing them, they come out looking like new actually, no odors, no dirt, just really nice and clean.

Just an update ......I washed 2 pair successfully . They came out smelling g wonderful and clean , although wore my black lepords yesterday and they feel different somehow . I feel they lost maybe some structure my feet hurt a little afterwards which has never happened with any of my sketchers 🤔 Oh I did air dry on the deck , It was t really sunny that day so do t know if that made a difference It was breezy though. I wish that all were made with the removable innersoles so the whole shoe wouldnt have to go in the washer . Only have 1 pair where they remove.

I wash mine, always have. I use Lysol Laundry Sanitizer in with my Skechers and all odors are gone.
