Wish there were more SMALL size shoes! I was looking at some on sale and they all start at "6" and I take a size 5.or sometimes

5-1/2.  Some of us are perfectly normal but just have smaller feet!

@Dotsez Years ago, after our daughter went away to college, I worked as a researcher for a business newspaper.  Several of the women who worked there would go to lunch together and there was a discount shoe store next to our favorite lunch place.  One of the reporters had these tiny feet--in your size range--and she used to complain about the same thing.  The rest of us wore size 9 and 10 so we called her "Little Foot."  It got to be a running joke in the newsroom.

@Dotsez.  They stocck the sizes for which they have the most demand.  You probably need to find a merchant who specializes in selling hard-to-find sizes, if you haven't already done so.

@Dotsez   Welcome to the forums!  Try Nordstrom and Nordstrom Rack in store and online.  I notice they carry smaller than average sizes at their Pentagon City mall location in Virginia.

Maybe Zappos online which has free shipping and returns might have some.  6 pm, shoes.com, and DSW are other possibilities.

Good luck with the shoe hunting.  There is nothing worse than ill fitting shoes.  I commiserate with you.  My problem is not size but width,  I wear a 7 and a half--narrow as possible--a 4A toe and a 5A heel.

Maybe you could just "Google" women's size 5 and 5 and a half shoes and see what sites come up.

@Dotsez.  You might try massey's shoes.com.  I bought from their catalog for years, long before the internet.   They claim to carry shoes down to size 4.  They specialize in hard-to-find sizes.
