@Icegoddess  Old Navy has the best no show socks I've ever worn. They don't slip off your heels and they don't show with any shoe I've ever worn. And I have a lot of different kinds of shoes! I turned my daughter on to them and she's told a lot of the doctors she works with about them and they all love them. Give them a try. They're not that expensive and I just throw them in the washing machine and dryer. When I worked that's all I wore in the summer months. I think I still have 12 pairs.

Even in the worst heat and humidity in the summer with temperatures in the triple digits, I always wear socks. As another poster already mentioned, I also hate the feeling of bare feet in shoes. I don't wear sandals for that reason.

I don't mind seeing people's feet on QVC. But it definitely turns me away from making shoe purchases sometimes because I am left wondering, why are they modeling only barefoot? Will the shoe would be too tight with socks?

@Xivambala.  Obviously, your personal preference is not shared by everyone.   The current trend is to go sockless with many types of shoes, and that's what many prefer to do.

For the record, I didn't call anyone here low class. I was referring to the QVC presentations. Everyone is free to use and do what they wish, but as usual one must use caution when expressing an opinion here.

I live in south Florida where it is hot and humid and do sweat like others in warm climates. Perhaps I used the wrong terminology. I was not referring to anklets or similar socks but to what is referred to as no-show socks. They are light weight and have a no-slip band on the heel. They do not easily come off.

@Xivambala please point me in the direction of some good quality no-show socks that actually don't show and stay on well.  I'm being serious.  I see so many so-called no-show socks that are really only no-show if you're wearing them with booties.

Also, I recently bought some Inivisasox (GMA Deals) and when I went to put them on with some Mary Janes, they were emblazoned with INVISASOX in black on nude across the top of the foot.  I knew the sock would show with my Mary Janes, but sine I was wearing pants with them, and they were nude, I thought I could get away with it.  But certainly not with that large black print across my foot.

And very often, the no-show socks that I have gotten from Costco, depemding on the shoe, will come off my heel. They don't have the sticky band on them though,  but I have some that do have that sticky band and still want to come off the heel.

@Icegoddess I have had luck with Bombass.  They actually stay on my feet and don't slip off.

@Icegoddess These are the current ones I use that I bought in Walmart. I use nude and black. I have some older ones that I think are the NoNonsense brand, but I like these better because they are lighter weight. I no longer have the outside packaging but the cost was somewhere around 2 pair for $6. I have seen many similar in the marketplace.

@FancyPhillyshopper  Things are not always what you think. I have a lovely pair of leather Clarks that gave me a blister when I wore them with no socks. The reason I started using no-show socks was due to an elevated knuckle on my 2nd toe, not because of ill fitting shoes.

@Kachina624  This was not about my personal preference but about QVC's marketing strategy.

I have no intention of buying any 'as is' products.

@Xivambala.  From your description in your OP, I'd say it's very much about your preferences.  Otherwise, why should you care?
