Now, working as a stylist, I have learned that apparently I slide when I walk. As much as I walk I slide forward (my shoes are the right size, smaller is too narrow), and the seam ends under the ball of my foot! By evening, I am almost lame! OUCH!
Does anyone know of any seamless hosiery that is comfortable?
Thanks!

Try ball-of-foot cushions by foot petals. They stop feet from sliding forward.

I just checked my Gold Toe Trouser Socks have the seam on top of the toes. The seam is about half an inch back.

@ECBG I recently saw some seamless trouser socks, but gosh, now I can't remember where. I'll keep tyring to remember - LOL. In the meantime, there's an online site FootSmart.com (they also have a catalog) that carries quite a few specialty products. Perhaps they may have the items you are seeking.

That is an excellent question for people that are on their feet all day. You would think in this day and age they would offer non skid bottoms to socks but socks that are lightweight. Good idea if no one has invented.![]()

LandsEnd has seamless trouser socks. I bought some last year ... very nice fitting.

@ECBG My cheapo trouser socks (DSW, Target, etc.) do not have seams. If my shoes feel like they are slipping, I do add a thin inner sole that doesn't make the shoe smaller, but adds a little cushioning & handles the slipping problem.
