I was very disappointed to see many of the shoes with higher heels on them.  They were a turnoff for me.  If this is a new trend I'm done with the brand.  These shoes look clumsy like the ones that could be worn in outer space.

@dmeasy   Although I cannot wear any brand of shoe with a heel of any style, I see no reason why that would turn me away totally from Skechers other shoes.

I use their local store because  it's easy for me to enter, it's fairly close to my home, and the staff has been cordial and helpful. I don't order any shoe remotely until I've worn the brand AND the exact shoe number that I've bought locally.

it's great if your "local store" happens to have your shoe size, but that is never the case for me, I am thrilled I can get shoes from QVC.  being 5'9, I don't want a significant heel either. But there are many more women who are short, and they will wear any shoe that will boost their height.  Skechers won't make shoes that don't sell.

I agree and think they look ridiculous.

@willowbark We are not the only ones that feel that way, was in a shoe store last week and the manager repeated much of what has been said, Skechers is the flop of the season. She thinks they have priced themselves out of reach because the quality does not reflect the pricing they are asking. I have to agree, I used to buy them without a thought but now even the sizing is erratic.

I think it was about year ago that Howie Mandell made a commercial stating the he loved Skechers so much that he fibbed and said he was their official spokesperson until they made him their official spokesperson.  What a crock.  Now, Sophia Vergara does commercials for them climbing into them hands free.. Both were probably handsomely paid.  I don't believe for one minute that Howie did it out of the goodness of his heart. I guess he's supposed to be a comedian,.but so not a funny one just a big fool, maybe he forgot comedians are supposed to be funny. @Lynnscats

@Bhvbum I'm suspect lots of factors determine where we shop for many of the things we buy.  As I've aged, I realize more and more which of the affects of living long really matter to me.  Now I laugh at myself for how little I really knew even 10 or 15 years ago about how different my life has become.

I live in a densely populated area where there are still many local stores in spite of so many that closed during the pandemic and never reopened and many others which were in buildings which have been demolished.  The Skechers store took over what used to be a huge CVS.  It's been well stocked with shoes and clothing.  An additional asset for me is the extensive parking on flat ground.

What commercial product does any celebrity tout without being paid?  Neither says they weren't paid in the ads.

I've been hot and cold over Skechers. I haven't found much support in their Arch-Fit. So today since HSN has free shipping, I decided to try a pair of Denise Austin Easy Spirit. Easy Spirit were always an old favorite of my for casual shoes, before Skechers came along.

after I read these posts I typed in sketchers here on QVC.  There were dozens of options, most without high heel.  I am 78.and have mobility issues. I saw a couple pair I have online. Have you checked out their inventory?  They also have sales many 38-48 bux.  That's pretty cheap for shoes.  I have many Sketchers.  They are comfy for me, and a good fit. I admit they don't last long they can stretch, or inside sole goes flat... but it's not a great loss.  I get  a lot of use out of them.
