Can anyone recommend a conditioner for my ivory Roma 2 . It is a beautiful bag my first big bag and I love it so would like to try to try to protect the very light ivory color. Thanks.

Hi dulwich

I had a spray for light colored leather from the Michael Kors outlet that worked nicely on a MK smooth ivory bag( did not darken the leather). The bottle is MIA ( this was about 2 years ago)- so I don't have details. Also waiting to here from the posters with information for the ivory ( still waitlisted- but hoping)

I can't suggest anything as I don't usually treat my bags, but do know that Coach sells a good leather conditioner and it was recently suggested that Mercedes sells a good leather conditioner for the leather used in their cars . Whatever you use, I'd test a small non-visible spot on the bottom or inside before applying all over. It really is a beautiful bag and color and it wouldn't be good if coating it altered the lovely shade.

I have used Coach moisturizer for years. As advised, test on an inconspicuous spot first. I put the moisturizer on a soft cloth and wipe on. Enjoy your new bag, it is gorgeous!

Hi, dulwich! I ordered Cadillac Boot and Leather/Shoe Care based on a recommendation from Tsukiko on another thread. It is reasonably priced on Amazon especially if you have Prime shipping. The ivory ostrich is beautiful! So happy I ordered it.

I used Coach Conditioner on mine and it worked beautifully. Softened the leather and got rid of the shedding of the tassel. DO NOT put the conditioner directly onto the leather, but rather squirt a small amount on a cloth and work onto the bag. Rub in circular motions, doing a section at a time and really work it in. I used to work for Coach and this conditioner is worth its weight in gold. It also got rid of the chemical smell my bag had, but of course, I had it in training at the same time, so the odor could have dissipated on its own.
