That is why QVC continues to get away with poor quality items. Lisa gave them a beautiful design to copy and Q cheaped it down as much as possible.

You can consider it a Kathy Van Zeeland bag.

I got my B Mak out this week. It's the one that was a TSV in black that is shiny. I think it was supposed to be a lizard type of finish. It's a great bag with really sturdy hardware. I only have one other of his - the gold cross body one. The leather has held up but the gold finish has rubbed off in places. I still use it though when I need a cross body. I am more partial to his boots and shoes. To the op, if you are not happy with the GILI, send it back and get something else that you will be happy with. I'm not buying anymore GILI bags. After 2 Romas, I just am not impressed with them as durable bags.

Regarding B. M. bags, I just read an article where he is selling one of his homes in California. The article stated it is one of the most expensive homes in the United States. They showed pics of it .. OMG. It is like a fantasy.
