I read as long as you keep your receipt, you really don't need to register them anywhere.....I also understand many companies sell your name, address & phone number so that could be why some companies PUSH the consumer to register everything they buy! I stopped registering years ago.

I think they like to claim it's for warranty purposes, but I'm certain it's more for marketing purposes.
You are not required to register any product to have it covered by it's warranty.
