I received my Flo medium pocket satchel in chestnut. I ordered it yesterday and it arrived today (the only perk that comes with living in CT). Anyway.....as soon as I opened the box I could see it had been repackaged, handles were not wrapped, no tissue paper over the hardware, etc. It had quite a few small scratches, all but one (on the back) buffed out with a soft cloth. The interior is immaculate. It came with the dust bag, warranty card and price tag (retied with the blue ribbon). I'm pretty sure I am going to keep it, but not sure if I should bother to call Dooney CS and complain....they will just say return it, they don't seem too sympathetic to our angst over there. Just had to vent.....despite all my complaining its a beautiful color, so much nicer than my T'moro brown satchel. The texture of the leather is pebbly, which I prefer to the smooth leather. If I receive a new bag I NEVER EVER unwrap the handles or the hardware on the bag if there is any chance I am going to return it. I am very careful not to damage it. Today I was at the L&T sale and most of the Flo bags are scratched up, the same at Macy's. It's really a shame.
