Around this time last year, I purchased a pearly python domed satchel in antique gold. When it arrived, it was gorgeous. A bit more structured and a stiffer feel than I normally prefer, but the color made up for it. Also, I was concerned about the embossing which, I thought, might have the potential to peel. Well, always go with your gut. By four months, my bag had starting peeling in several spots, especially at the corners. Got to love Dooney's customer service. They totally stand by their products - unlike some other vendors here -- cough, cough - Makowsky. I received a reimbursement and apology. So, bottomline, while not totally pleased with the product -- did I mention it was gorgeous, even if defective --I appreciate Dooney's professionalism and customer appreciation.
