Hello Sarah and Ladies,

I was going to post this sometime this weekend after my latest dentist appointment PTSD had worn off but I saw Sarah's post. If anybody remembers when the "Claudia" in indigo was featured on page 69 on the Feb. issue of Lucky I almost had a stroke. I posted about it here and somebody was a big sweetie and posted a pic for me. I thought and thought about it, as we all do. Finally, I decided I would send back my red Janine Croc to QVC as I had not carried it. I love it but it is very structured and a bit heavy for me as i have back and neck issues. Besides, I gave my mom the Black one for her bday in Dec. So (we) still posess one. I sent it back, meanwhile we were hit with the biggest storm in Texas!!! NO tracking, no tracking no tracking. I started to panic and looked on the Brahmin site and the indigo Claudia was GONE!!!!!!!!!!!! I called cs and they said that is very very popular and we sold out, and we will not be getting anymore as the indigo is a limited release and we only have a certain # of bags made in that color. (I promise this book has a happy ending.) I tried to die!!!!!

Fast forward to this morning. Email arrives this morning, my cc has been credited for the Dooney! The search begins!!! The first place I called was the Dallas Galleria Brahmin store. I spoke with Thoa (pronounced TOI like toile fabric minus the le.) She HAD Claudia in indigo. She is on the UPS truck on the way to my house this moment. In the hour we were on the phone discussing, they only get 3-4 bags of the indigo in any style. PERIOD. Unless it's black or pecan, the bags they make year round.

So now for Sarah. They DO HAVE Carmela and i believe it's Clara (which is a bit larger), the hobos, in indigo at the Galleria. As well, as the matching checkbook wallets. If you want to call the Galleria store, 512-392-3966 and ask to speak to Thoa (Toi). Tell her I told you if you want (Kami from Abilene). Yes they get a small commission. And, she will give you FREE SHIPPING!!!! Suddenly I feel Oprah coming out as i yell free shipping as i type it. She also took pictures of the actual bag and wallets and sent them to me as we talked so I could see the real bag and not the website picture!!! She's very very good at her job. But she told me once these bags are gone, they are gone. You go GIRL!!!!

Side note for everybody looking at the Spring Catalog. The Claudia and the Mini Alden Tote will also be available in Pistachio March 30. I'm not a big bag girl so these were the ones I was interested in. If you call CS at Brahmin headquarters they will tell you what bags will be available in what colors if you have a specific color in mind. I love the pistachio!

I know this is a Dooney forum. But guys I'm in love with Brahmin. I have never seen a bag that made me obsess with getting it like this bag has.
