Hi B~ I tried to email you but it isn't working so am posting here. I purchased the beautiful B Makowsky handbag from you about a year ago..maybe longer.

To make a long story short, a family in our neighborhood took in a family of 5 from Joplin, MO who lost everything. Honestly, they only had the clothes on their backs. Our church then adopted them. The husband found work here locally and an apartment. After much work, they are now set up with all the furnishings, linens, everything needed for the kitchen and household. All of the children were outfitted with clothing, shoes, bicycles and some toys.

I am about the same size as the wife so I cleaned out my closet. She had just received the Dooney Orange Crescent tote for their anniversary last fall but it was lost in the tornado. It was her "treasure" as she described she had never got so attached to anything materialistic before this tote. I don't have D&B Crescent orange tote nor could I afford to replace it but gave her the B. Makowsky bag and she just sobbed. She loved it (I did take great care of it).

Just wanted to share that the BM bag found a new home and is greatly appreciated. I guess we don't realize what we have until it is gone. It was a happy experience to give help to others who have lost everything. It changes your perspective on what is important.
