I checked out the San Marcos TX outlet mall today; it was hotter than heck and I pooped out pretty fast since the stores are really scattered and far apart. In the Dooney outlet, EVERYTHING was marked down...depending on which line--from 30% to 50%. ALL florentine styles were 30% off, the WILSON BAGS WERE 40% OFF, the jacquard bags were 30% off, Dillen were 40% off, the ostrich were 50% off, and the signature styles (1975, etc) were 50% off. They had plenty of stock, and don't you know I didn't buy ANYTHING!!! If there's a bag you have your heart set on, I recommend calling one of the "shipping" outlets and see if they have it. (The TX outlet does not ship.)

The Brahmin outlet had a ton of gorgeous stuff and a large clearance section. I handled a few beauties, mostly the raffia bags. BECK--they have the roses for $35, even in the Copa. They had a lot of accessories...wallets, key chains, cosmetic bags, etc. I had planned to go back and pick up the copper Copa roses, but after trekking for a couple of hours I FORGOT all about them. Dang.

I also walked through Gucci (yawn), Coach (snore) and Brighton (meh).

Then on to Michael Kors, though I had not planned to go in there. Wouldn't you know it, I almost made a clean gettaway!! Then I noticed the "Fulton Satchel" in the luggage leather, and it was all over. I grabbed the Fulton and matching wallet, and they rode home with me. LOOOOOOVE!!!
