Orthaheels Wearing Out Quickly

I bought two pairs of orthaheels in the April/May time period. I have loved both of them & they've reduce the pain in my knees significantly. However (as if on cue) both started feeling worn out last week. The strap on the sandals is almost bleeding on my ankle (it's leaving a brown stripe every time I wear them) and the maryjanes are coming apart at the top seam and suddenly feel uncomfortable. These shoes cost too much to last only 4 - 5 months. Has anyone else had this issue?
