I think they're cool. I wish I could get my husband to wear something like that. The style and price would never fly with him. I wish more men would break out of the style shell.
@Queen of shop Alberti was the first person I thought of when I saw these. Rick? Not so much. David, also, no. Maybe the NYDJ rep could pull the look off, but Alberti for sure.
Fear not Brothers and Sisters! I have read THE BOOK..........we win!!!
I think it's worth noting that Q's description falls a wee bit short since these are "smoking slippers," often designed for leisure or casual wear. If we look at selections of smoking slippers perhaps it makes more sense. Just as an aside, I wonder when or why it came to be that we might think that only women can have fun with fashion. I'd hate to be put in such a limited category with limited selection as what's come t@o be thought of as "men's fashion." I say have fun, everyone, and enjoy a little color in our lives! 😊
@dooBoo
That's what I thought as well, that they are smoking shoes. I don't think they are work shoes or even golfing shoes. Smoking shoes.
I think they look like smoking shoes. Albeit, not my style, I do own a couple pairs of smoking shoes. I think I got one pair from H by Halston or was it that other company who was short-lived but who had such cute apparel and who was recently selling on HSN.
