I LOVE BM bags and own MANY of them. I recently contacted the BM office regarding a 3 year old shoulder bag that is in need of repair. After very politely explaining the handle leather was shredding, and asking for their assistance - after all Bruce does claim over and over "the quality of the leather will make them last a lifetime" - they blew me off. The answers of "we sell, we don't repair", "we don't keep a stock of old replacement bag or parts", "try returning to the place of purchase" and "send us the bag (at my own expense) so our quality control people can see the problem" really were unacceptable.
As I said, I own many BM bags, and have purchased many more as gifts for family and friends, but NO MORE... I will go back to purchasing LV bags, they may cost me 3-4 times what a BM bags costs but they have superior customer service when needed.
Does anyone out there have any suggestions about how to get a bag that I love repaired? I would really appreciate the help, ladies!
