@Nonametoday  Another designer that is wonderful is Donald Pilner.  I believe he is sometimes on HSN.  However, I had a pair of his shoes years ago that I bought at Marshall Fields or Neiman Marcus.  Cat Very Happy

Really like Donald Pliner and Stuart Weitzman.  I have found shoes at TJMaxx that I liked.  You never know where you will find the best shoes.  Some mid range expensive, others not so much.  Thank you, KatCat1!

Check Zulily today...new Naot listing.

I used to wear Naot shoes and loved them.  However, the last two pairs I bought were not of the same quality they were a few years back.  May have just been I got a couple pairs of duds, but I stopped buying because I have limited budget and cannot waste money. I find that Sam Edelman which is priced lower is just as good.

So true that you can't just go by brand.  I read the Zappo's reviews very carefully because one line can vary so much.  I wonder if the fact that they are all now trying to be more fashionable is affecting the comfort of the shoe -- which is how they got their reputation!  And why people were willing to pay more.

I’ve noticed the leather on my favorite Mary Janes is thinner than my original pairSmiley Sad

@GSPgirl @Katcat1  It could well be that they have ranked styling ahead of comfort.  Not sure but the last 2 pairs of Naot shoes I purchased just did not hold up like the former ones and I have bought a lot of that brand.  Same thing happened to me with Cole Haan.  They used to be the only shoe I would buy and then (I guess they went to China or went to Hades in a handbasket) the quality begin slipping.
