I like Vionics foot bed so I will give them that. However I think they go a little cheap on the upper as far as their support. A small thin piece of leather across the top does not make the sandals that supportive. I think at their price point they can do a little more.

BTW I do own and enjoy their slippers and I have a pair of sneakers which have been serving me well for walking.
