For the price, I was expecting much better for this new bag. It looks rather flimsy and cheap ( a lined cardboard box). Perhaps it is because the details were shown on the white bag. White bags are really difficult to do right, in my opinion.

Oh well, I guess my GILI Handbag collection is done.

I agree with you Crisso ""a lined cardboard box"". I ordered and received a G.I.L.I. crossbody not too long ago-so disappointed. I felt cheated or taken advantage of so I sent it right back. I feel this line is not a line I'm interested in supporting with my purchases.

I didn't care for it either. It was the only item on the upcoming GILI bag list that sort of had my attention but it's not for me. And I too think my interest it GILI bags has flown out the door... For one thing, they're pricing them too high for what they are and at that price point, I'll stick with brands I know and like. At the end of the day, although some of these bags have been winners, most of the ones I've gotten home weren't and regardless, this is still nothing more than a higher priced QVC house brand.
