Need help FAST please re:pebble leather Chiara

Hi Dooney divas -

I have my eye on today's 12 Days special - the saddle pebble leather medium Chiara.

I don't have any leather Dooney's - just signature and a wool plaid.

Do you think this will be soft and durable too? I have only seen the patent Chiaras and loved the style. Do you think it translates well in pebble leather?
