I sent mine back, too. There was no way I was carrying that thing as it was sent to me. I checked out some of the ostrich options in the Dooney collection at Dillard's, and the painting on them was perfect. I might eventually get the ivory ostrich, since it doesn't have the dot painting. Most people who got that color are very pleased with it.

Last winter I purchased a Dooney from Dillard's with gray ostrich and black trim. I only went to Dillard's because I was having trouble finding a deeper gray.

The ostrich effect is perfect and makes for a great design. It's a purse I've gotten compliments on.

I'm taking my Natural Ostrich out tomorrow for the first time. I got the extra large Chameleon purse organizer in the mail today (thanks to the lady on the forum who recommended it), and I put it in the bag, along with the stuff I need, including a file folder with some documents. I'll be carrying the bag as a wide tote to accommodate everything. I didn't have a large tote, so this works well for me.

Nikalette, I think the extra large Chameleon purse organizer is the right size for the Roma II. I have a slightly smaller Chameleon purse organizer, that that works okay also. I can't carry a bag that's too heavy, so I don't fill mine up with a lot of "stuff"; just what I need for the day. I only wear my tote when I need to carry papers, etc., so I don't really use it as an everyday purse.

I recently got the Ivory Ostrich (after I returned a defective Metallic bag), and it's very pretty. I've taken it out twice when I've been shopping. So far, no one has commented on this bag, but I've received compliments several times on my Blush bag. I still like the Ivory, because Blush doesn't go with everything in my closet.
