@halfpint1  Hi. When we built our house 22 yrs. ago, a fellow we knew at Lowe’s did some closet work on the side. He did all our closets, pantry, kitchen cabinets, etc. I’m pretty sure these shelving materials are still available. They’re hung on standards w/ brackets. He measured the height of my shoes (no heels) and left more room between shelves for “winter change over” when I needed extra room  for boots. The best part is the ceiling height on the 1st floor which we continued in my closet. 😜
