And I really love it. The orange color is beautiful, a nice medium carrot orange with good saturation that will mix with a range of shades. The orange goes great with the colors I wear, a lot of burgundy wine, black, purples, teal and the one royal blue dress I have will look great with it. I was a little worried because the hardware looked silver tone on air but it's not it's a lovely gold so perfect with the orange leather. Maybe they use silver on some colors and gold on others? Or maybe it was just the reflection with all the studio lights.

I love the size, it's just perfect for what I wanted. Enough room for my full size wallet, cosmetics bag, phone, ipad, my sunglasses case and umbrella with room to spare for my winter hat and gloves when I take them off and it still latches with all that inside. And everything is easy to see not just piled up on top of each other. This is my first Dooney bag that is not from the Flo line. I admit I'm not a huge fan of the pebble leather but I think it really works for this bag and the natural waterproof will be nice year round.

Now about the lining, I really like it. I'm used to the Flo red lining so this delicate pink and white weave is subtle and understated. The pink is soft and doesn't really stand out, especially in this orange bag. I can see it standing out a little more in say the black leather.

It's funny but the thing that I really wanted was the kisslock but now that I have so much room in this bag I'm not sure I'll use it with it. It will be great in my little crossbody bags though when I don't want to carry my big wallet. It's cute but I haven't put anything in it yet. I can just picture the cute orange kisslock in my black Flo bags though.

My only concern is getting used to carrying a shoulder bag again. That is going to be an adjustment. If I can do it, I can see myself getting this bag in other colors. I'm already eyeing the black one and the bordeaux.

So from a hater to a lover of this bag.

As for the hardware - they do say they made it this way, so it has a silver undertone, kind of....that way you can carry it with your gold and silver jewelry.

I personally don't match my handbag hardware with my jewelry. That's just too much work! And it's not like I carry my handbag everywhere with me!

PS. Funny how you are already thinking about other colors. QVC does NOT lie

I actually went back and looked at the Logo Lock listing on QVC and it says gold tone hardware. But it really looks silver on air to me. But I'm used to the Flo line's brushed gold hardware that isn't highly reflective.

I don't match hardware with jewelry either, but I do think that warm toned colors look better with gold tone hardware. Well I love black with gold too. Maybe I just like gold better? I do wear silver sometimes.

I LOVE gold! But I recently purchased a few silver rings, a bracelet, and a pair of earrings to match, AND a watch in a silver tone, since the other one I have is gold tone....so now when I wear silver jewelry it doesn't match my handbag, but it's way too much to think about when I get ready to work in the morning and have to decide 1) what outfit to wear 2) what shoes will match my outfit 3) what jewelry will match all that 4) what bag to choose! Usually I choose my bag the night before based on things I need to carry that day...

I think this bag is turning the tide for me on colored bags. I've always been a black bag lover with the occasional natural leather shade. I've coveted a dark green bag and an orange bag for ages but hadn't actually purchased.
