I don't carry much either and that's they way I like it! Th bag is not heavy but it opens up so well that I can get things out without fumbling over other items. I don't use an organizer, don't need one. Plus with just a wallet, makeup case, eyeglass case in the center and then cell, etc on the sides it leaves plenty of room to get my tablet in and out. I love this bag and have used it 2 days and have gotten more compliments from men and women than I have gotten on any other bag I've had! Give it some time, she'll grow on you!!

WOW! I wonder what they plopped on top of our bags during the 'process' that made that mark. It doesn't even match up with the slip pocket on the inside, but it's the same shape and size. Its subtle, but it sure is there and its the first thing I see when I look at the bag.

I'm returning mine too. Sad that blush is on waitlist and we'll probably get another reject. Sigh...

I received the Natural Ostrich Roma 2 today, and I really like it. It's not as stiff as I thought it would be, and it weighs just barely under 2 1/2 lbs. I have a 32 oz. bottle of WEN in the bottom of the bag, to start the training. Not sure how long I'm supposed to do this, though.

I'm returning the Metallic, as there are cuts across the tassel. I'm also returning the Cream Snake. So far, I'm thinking of keeping the Blush, although I wonder how much I'd use that color.

I have to look for a larger organization bag for my tote(s). I have a small one, that works, but it looks rather lonesome in the bottom of a large bag. I have to read some comments about organization bag recommendations.

I received my Roma 2 in Ivory Ostrich. It is night and day from the cardboard-brown-ostrich I received, and returned, last time it was a TSV. It was definitely "tumbled" more than the previous ostrich bags and it is softer, though still slightly stiff. My tassel sheds a ton. What I did was run my fingernail down the "rough" side of each tassel strip. It resulted in a BIG pile of "sheddings" but I am hoping that speeds up the shedding process and it will be over sooner. I just might keep this bag....love the color, love the look. Maybe the 3rd time is the charm!

Just a little update: I 'trained' for a couple of days then started carrying this bag daily. I can not even begin to tell you how much I LOVE my natural ostrich bag. I applied a leather conditioner and It's starting to break in quite well and it's softened up nicely while still retaining a nice subtle structure.

I too received a Blush Roma 2 with wrinkles! One side of the bag is a nice, smooth leather that stands, the other side is wrinkly and puddles so my bag falls to one side. Also I have noticed that on my Blush, Natural Ostrich, and Black that the side with the two slip pockets slinks down below the side with the zip pocket. Not sure why that is but all three of my colors do this. I'm in love with the colors and style, but not sure what to do about this yet.

Received the natural ostrich today. I had to return the blush and the black due to really strong chemical odors. No odor whatsoever on this bag! It also is actually not as stiff as I thought it would be. There is some minor bleeding from the red dye in spots.... I would return it if the bleeding was really obvious because it would cheapen the bag. I used Coach moisturizer on it today.....a slight amount of the dye came off on the rag. I did this to see how the dye would hold up if it needed to be cleaned or moisturized. Going to keep it for a few weeks to see how it holds up. May be a keeper. The black is my fav....but the chemical smell remained after nearly 3 weeks hanging outside. I was concerned about toxicity. Hope ya'll enjoy your bags!!!!

I purchased the cream snake. It arrived and is a pretty bag at a good price. It was too large for me - so I returned it. I did not think I would carry it daily. After placing my belongings in the purse, I felt it would be too heavy. I would only use it for a trip.

Got the black and metallic today. The black is quite lovely. The metallic I think I have to see outside to decide, it is more silver than I expected. They were packed in one box. Pretty sure the black is a return, the metallic maybe not. Both still had plastic around the tassels and straps. I'm training them for 2 days. Wow what a stench! Not like bug spray, but no leather smell at all. I think it is either the plastic wrap or a coating on the bags. I can condition and seal them I think and I do expect the smell to go away. Waiting for the blush, natural and lizard which went back on easy pay. Now, I am not as blown away with these 2 as I expected. They pale a bit compared to my 2 Aimee's, Dooneys, and my Oryany. But I sent back plenty of of those so I'm still hopeful. I need to carry the bags to get a feel for them..hate to do it for the next person who gets them If I return, but I have to. I am sure I will keep,at least one or two,bags, they are very nice for,the price...my other bags are in the $300-400 range. Also the crossbody is kind of short...one seems longer.

Just curious - first you say the black is quite lovely, then you say pretty sure the black is a return??? I don't see the logic?? Why return if it's lovely???

I have some more expensive bags too, including GILI Vintage Hobo which smells like leather from far away - amazing smell!!! And that's reflected in the price....$429 vs $169 for Romas... I like the bags but LOVE the vintage hobo!
