That's great to hear. Mine left the warehouse on May 17th and I haven't received any updates since! Really frustrating even though I won't be home until June 9 but I'd like to know my bags arrive so I can tell my neighbor to pick them up from my porch....

I'll be interested to see if any of the ""training"" actually works.

I have the last version of the natural ostrich and it's still stiff and fake looking.

I have asked if anyone knows of any leather conditioner that may help soften it up...but I never received an answer to my post.

I REALLY wanted to like it...it's beautiful to look at...but so STIFF!

Guess my bags were on a train or something because they were just delivered to Sacramento and will be delivered to my house tomorrow.....too bad I won't see them that fast....but it's 6 days before my EDD and I paid for standard shipping!!!!

So glad you got it. I think you will grow to love it like I did mine. I got my ostrich with the first TSV and it has softened beautifully. I used to sit it on the floor and it would stand up and I could see right inside. Now when I place it on the floor it sorta puddles to one side. Much softer. It still has structure but not quite so stiff. I am waiting for mine to arrive still. UPS doesn't show up in my hood until evenings. I will be waiting with anticipation. I hope the blush has enough structure to it. I want soft but not too soft. Picky aren't we.

I hope you guys get them soon! I have to say I've been watching mine 'train'. It's across the room on a doorknob with two large peanut butter jars in it. I kinda feel like my little girl when she's in time out. I so want to play with it but I can't. lol. My husband said that some baseball glove conditioner shoulder take her 'training' to the next level. I guess he's now her new coach. Let me know when you get yours. I'm excited to hear your thoughts!!

terrier3, haven't heard of any leather conditioner to soften your bag but mine (ostrich) has softened beautifully. I often leave mine in the backseat of my car while I'm at work (I know I shouldn't for safety reasons but I do). Anyway, I wonder if letting it sit in a hot car will help soften it. I also hang mine on the doorknob when not in use.

OH I'm excited for you!!! Mine are in their "training class" as we speak!! LOL!

I can't get over the quality for the price. Looks much more expensive. I hope you LOVE yours!!! Can't wait to hear when you get it!

I'm sorry you are having issues with your original ostrich. I got the natural and ivory that just arrived today. The leather is beautiful. Not fake looking at all. As a matter of fact, I like it as well, if not better than Dooney's florentine leather. Mine are a little stiff but not board stiff.

You can get a product called Apple Guard. They make a line of products. I've used their leather conditioner on Coach bags and it has helped soften them a bit.

I would try it on a small spot on the Roma first. Maybe on the bottom or the inside G.I.L.I. label first just to make sure it's safe to use on the Roma. Then try it on the rest of the bag if all goes well with the test spot.

I'm so disappointed! Just got the natural ostrich and on one side of the bag it looks like the dye to darken the spots smeared all over the bag. It looks like a mess. I like the bag otherwise. But I'm afraid if I exchange I will get another of the same. Anyone else have this on their natural ostrich bag?
