Measurements On Dooney Logo Lock Hobo

Can anyone who has the logo lock hobo verify the measurements? Is she truly 17" wide as stated in the description? I've watched the presentations and videos and just cannot decide and cannot see where they are measuring this 17". Grey is on waitlist which I am contemplating. I love hobo's the most, and medium size. Also reading the reviews some state "too large", "too small", "just right". I like to be sure of items I order to avoid the return hassle and expense.

Possibly someone can post a picture of the logo lock hobo next to other D&B bags for comparison? TIA, Paula
