Anyone on this forum with any info/opinions on this brand, how true to size it runs, how comfortable, how supportive is the sole (mostly arch support, but heel padding, too) etc. I've never bought the brand before, and hesitate to take the plunge when I can't try them on before I buy them. TIA!

I got last year's TSV and was quite pleased with them. I actually gave them to my husband to wrap and put under the tree for me. I have a slightly larger calf, just large enough that most boots, even riding style, will not zip up, but I generally don't like the look of a wide calf because they usually are more vase-shaped than the original boot. These don't do that. I am quite comfortable buying shoes online as opposed to clothing which I need to try on, and almost always get a 7 1/2 unless I see a lot of reviews for an item saying they run large or small. I consider this brand to be correctly sized. I'm just not wow'd by this style or I would be all over it again this year too.

I have several pairs of Marc fisher tall shaft boots, different colors of the same style (damsel; no longer on the Q. So, I guess just one boot. Lol. Love them, though. Always get lots of compliments. Can't wait until it's cold enough to wear boots again!
not sure about these boots, though. Heel looks weird to me, but maybe that's because I'm used to a riding boot.
ETA: Guess I should say they run true to size for me. Real quality boot.

I have been wanting some red/burgundy boots for ages, and these have a perfect heel height for me, but the buckles on them is a dealbreaker. Seems like all the boots they sell have some sort of embellishment, which I don't care for.

Shoekitty said. I do not like those buckles either. Especially gold ! to me it cheapens the whole boot. but i guess it is all a matter of perssonal taste

Thanks, everyone, for your input. Since I have severe arthritis in my right foot due to a crush injury, I need a truly wide footbed, and since I'm a bicycle rider, I need a wide calf, too, especially if I want to tuck in leggings. So I think I had better pass on these boots, the horrific slow pace of mail in making a return just means the Q hangs on to my money that much longer if it turns out the boots don't fit. Oh, I would need to put my own orthotics inside the boots as well, so that really makes me hesitant. Better safe than sorry, I guess. Thanks again for the input.
