I thought I saw that while the bag was first being presented. I mentioned it on another thread. Someone said it was a trick of the camera lighting. I certainly would not keep it if I got one with mismatched leather, as I said on that other thread. The one I noticed it in was the light cognac colored bag.

Boy am I glad you all caught that! I did not! I am going to have to check that. I don't know if I will like not having the pebble leather all around the bag!!! Thank you ladies SO much!

My white one has pebble leather all around the bag. The ones who did not surely were defective. Did anyone other than Toril get one without the pebble leather all around?

Mine is gorgeous in blue with pebble leather all around. The zipper is not quite sticky but it is not perfect. Which is a real shame because everything else about this bag is so excellent. I'm sure I would be ordering a second one in another color if the zipper worked better.

I checked my tangerine bag and it's the pebble leather both front and back, BUT I did notice an awful chemical like smell coming from it. I noticed others posted that also. I hate to send the bag back, but I can't stand that smell.
