This line is a GOOB bag for me (going out of business). Meaning I'm not buying at these price points, I'll only buy if Evine drops the line and closes them out. That's how I got my Ghurka bag for $249.00, I didn't consider the original prices. P.S. That is now my favorite all time bag. I hate to be so brutal in judging lines, but I know my budget. The rest of you, please enjoy them.

I hear that... None of the shopping channels offer truly nicer brand bags at a good price unless or until they decide to clear them out. Almost any of the better brands offered by any of the 'big three' can probably be found on sale somewhere for less, and where QVC is concerned (and possibly the others too), would probably also ship for less. Kooba makes a nice bag, but they're sold online by a number of stores and do go on sale. Of course, Value Pay can be a factor.

Found this by accident on QVC.com. It is a V Couture by Kooba. Is this the same brand as on Evine?? Shell 100% polyurethane; lining 100% polyester and they are all around $70.00. Might be the low end version of what is on Evine, not leather.

The V- Couture line has been available on Q for several years. They toyed with a Kooba 'vegan' line, but it was never heavily promoted and frankly, as long as these bags have been around, they really ought to be on serious clearance by now... Some of them were nice looking bags. I purchased three of them way back when. I still have one of them, the second didn't wear so well and I just didn't care for the third, so gave it away...

I have a beautiful Kooba that I got from Neimans years ago. I had another that was unfortunatly stolen from my car and I still haven't gotten over it. Really great bags!!!!

The leather looks exceptional on these bags and I'd like to try one but so far I haven't found one in a style I like well enough to purchase.

It's so much fun though to watch presentations of bags other than Dooney. I love the Dooney shows but they're almost suffering from overexposure IMO.

I agree... The Kooba leather is gorgeous, the styles being shown, not all that special... And my gosh yes, I remember when Dooney shows here were an event not to be missed, now, just like everything else QVC does, it's overkill...

My favorite, was right around $500. I have a few bags from Coach, that are that price or a little more. I love them, but, I also love to switch out my bags. It's really hard for me to justify that $$$$, unless I'm totally wowed by the bag, and I just wasn't. Maybe down the road,,if they go on sale. I recently drug the Hubster into a Louis Vuitton store and threatened him with bodily harm, if he commented on prices:-). It was fun to look. Their bags are lovely, of course. However, nothing came remotely close to tempting me to make goo goo eyes at my Husband, in hope of scoring a treasure! Personal taste, but I definitely do not love their bags enough to spend thousands of $$ for them. I told Hubby he was in no danger. He told me, if he had been, it would have been my Christmas, Birthday, and Anniversary gift, for the next 5 years!

My neighbor and friend, who is quite the Evine shopper, bought the large Jonnie, in Yellow, or whatever they call the color. It's gorgeous,such beautiful leather! However, it was also $500. Last time I talked to her,she said I it would probably be going back. She was a little "quick on the trigger", when she watched the show. Lovely bag, but she didn't Love it $500 worth! Definitely beautiful bag. Not sure I would have been able to part with it, once I had it in my paws:-)

I'm going to have to love a bag an awful lot for it to be five hundred bucks worth of love... and it's going to have to show me more than sumptuous leather...

{#emotions_dlg.biggrin}

Don't bet me wrong, these are really nice bags but no. Not for five bills... Many other I'd prefer in that range.
