I wear ankle boots all winter, with tights, having quite a weakness for them.  At Kohl's I found these strappy SO "Celery" ankle boots on sale for $39.  They have man-made uppers, but for some reason those don't bother me.

Tan:

Got the "stone" above which is a great neutral for me.  The "terra cotta" is a very rich color, and they come in black too I think.

I had to get one size larger than my size 6, because the toe tapers a bit, and I wanted plenty of room.   I don't believe these would be good for miles of walking, but today, for church and then grocery shopping, they were fine, and looked really nice.

@Oznell  I bought these in a gray at Kohls two years ago. I love them. They are very comfortable and have held up quite well. Enjoy them.
