So, how does the croco hold up? The pink would be fun or marine blue; don't know how practical. Does the "natural" leather trim darken with age?

I own one of their croc bags in gray and I LOVE it. It is one of my favorites if not my favorite. I love even just feeling the texture of it while its on my lap in the car if I am the passenger. It looks brand new still and sure looks like an expensive bag.

I won't be buying this TSV but I am sure it will be just as pretty.

Hi Cindy: I have several Dooney croco handbags and they hold up very well. I love the croco However, I'm not a fan of the natural vachetta leather trim. Others may love it, but mine always gets dirty very quickly and doesnt' darken to cover the stains.

That is my fear...the "natural" tone of the trim. I'm afraid that the oil and dirt of real life will just make it grubby looking and spotty. I've always had the darker rich tones in trim or black.

You can kiwi spray on the vachetta. It doesn't hurt it. Just spray evenly. What really does it in is rain spots. And people who are not familiar with vachetta will get upset. At least the bottom isn't vachetta. That is the worst.

My preference is to have darker leather trim/handles/straps; however, I do have a few Dooneys with vachetta leather.

If I don't like the way the vachetta is darkening in spots on my bags, I just get a damp cloth and wipe all the vachetta down and it makes it much more uniform in color.
