@Zhills ...........I find that Earth Brand shoes run narrow, not just in the heel but the whole shoe.  Maybe this would help you.

I walk around Costco to buy groceries and they sell shoes.  I try them on and if they feel good as well as fit I buy them.  I do believe that shoes should be tried on before purchase.
